How to Make an LED Lightsaber
If you are a die-hard Star Wars fan who wants to show everyone the majesty of that particular fictional work, then
you may want to use a led lightsaber as props to your Star Wars costume during Halloween costume parties and
related events.
During Halloween parties, it is almost imperative that you wear the most interesting and highly creative costumes
available. Not only will this draw the attention of people to you, but it will also make you feel good knowing that
you are representing one of the most heroic characters ever to exist on the planet - even for a day. Aside from
that, Halloween parties are generally very interesting events that everyone should spend a considerable time
preparing the costumes of the characters they want to project. Because of this, several gamers and movie buffs who
are fans of science-fiction would usually consider adapting one of the most beloved characters in the Star Wars
Saga. And when we are talking of a full-pledged Star Wars costume, then we are talking of a led lightsaber to
complete the Jedi look.
A led lightsaber is the most important weapon the of the Jedi knights in one of the most celebrated Sagas in the
history of television. A Halloween costume of a Jedi knight will never be complete without hanging one on your belt
or over your arms. Indeed, holding a led lightsaber is enough to draw people's attention to you and for them to be
instantly amazed by the sheer details of your Jedi costume.
So, if you are one of those people who think that a Jedi will never be effective without this led lightsaber, below
are steps to follow in creating one without necessarily spending a lot of money buying expensive ones in
stores:
* The first thing to do is to collect all the materials that you will need. These materials would be modelling
balloons, modelling balloon air pump, batteries, mini LED flashlights, empty wrapping paper, clear packing tape,
and magic markers.
* Once you have collected all these materials, then it is time to start with the work. First, blow up the modelling
balloon slowly using your prepared air pump so as to prevent the balloon from curving.
* Remove the pump from the balloon after you have made sure of the size. Tie the end so as to keep the air inside,
and set the balloon aside for a while.
* Make sure that the batteries in your flashlights are working well. If not, purchase batteries in your local
stores and make sure that the flashlight is working perfectly.
* After this, place the end of the modelling balloon against the end of the flashlight that is lit. You may be able
to observe that the light coming from the mini LED flashlight is able to illuminate the length of the balloon.
* Lastly, you may now attach the modelling balloon to the flashlight by carefully wrapping clear package tape
around the balloon and on top of the LED flashlight.
And there you have it. You now have your homemade led lightsaber that you can even share to all your friends who
are present in the parties.
