How to Make Your Own Mace Windu FX Lightsaber
Mace Windu is a Korun Jedi Master. He was the Master of the Order before he gave the position to his predecessor
Yoda. Mace Windu sports a Mace Windu FX lightsaber, which is a weapon made of polished metal hilt that projects a
blade of energy that can cut through anything. It is considered the signature weapon of a Jedi in the Star Wars
universe.
Fans of the Star Wars series and the character of Mace Windu would often dress up like him on Halloween.
However, no Mace Windu costume would ever be complete without the Mace Windu FX lightsaber. A lightsaber, when
bought pre-made, can cost a lot of money, even more so this special Mace Windu edition. Buying this special edition
lightsaber can cost you more than a hundred dollars.
If you are a true Star Wars fan and you want the closest replica of the Mace Windu FX lightsaber, you probably
wouldn't mind spending a lot of money on it. There are some specialty stores that sell the official reproduction of
this kind of lightsaber. Their models come complete with motion-activated sound effects and a poly-carbonated blade
that glows purple, just like Mace Windu's lightsaber.
However, if you don't want to spend so much money on a Mace Windu FX lightsaber but you really want to dress up
as Mace Windu for Halloween, then your best option is to just make your own replica of this special edition
lightsaber. It may not be as authentic looking as the real thing, but it can do a lot to accent your Halloween
costume.
To make your own Mace Windu FX lightsaber, you will need the following materials: flashlight, preferably one
with a black handle like a Mag Light; plastic bottles of the same sizes; purple cellophane; and some tape.
The first step is to cut out the top and bottom part of all your plastic bottles and then cut them all in the
middle to create a flat surface. After that, cut a part of the plastic so that you can roll it into something as
thin as a lightsaber. When you have done this with all of your bottles, tape them all together and attach them to
your flashlight. The last step is to wrap it with the purple cellophane so that when you turn on the light, it will
deflect a purple light instead of an orange or white one. This is a very simple and cost-efficient way of making
your own Mace Windu FX lightsaber. The only downside is you won't get the motion-activated sound effects.
A custom-made Mace Windu FX lightsaber is perfect to make your Halloween costume complete without having to
spend so much money. It is perfect for going trick or treating or going to a Halloween party.
However, if you are a Star Wars fanatic, then you might be better off buying the commercially-produced replica
of this lightsaber as most of them are made to copy every small detail of the real thing, except for its ability to
cut through anything, of course.
